Oh Ikea Expedit how swank you look filled with fabric.
I just got back from our monthly trip to the wonderful land known as Ikea.. sadly our trip was to get 80 small metal pegs which someone (ahem) lost so the new shop shelves could not be put together until these little gems were back into the mix.
Be that as it may we won’t let my lame little venture dampen our spirits for getting organized this Spring.
My darling Robyn from Coffee and Cotton gets us rolling with a fantastic tutorial on a fast and good looking way to deal with fabric that is more than a Fat Quarter are less than 2 yards ( I would say there a lot of these cuts in the stash of most quilters).

p.s For those who are worried about the demise of the Expedit have no fear, it just got a new name and a bit of re-engineering for material savings – don’t freak out!
