Last fall I was over the moon with excitement that BAQS had the very distinct honor of being the first to show off the Wicked collection of quilts during and evening event at SPOOL. And while the quilts are on tour not everyone will get to see them so that makes me extra excited that they have now been collected into book form!
Each quilt has been professionally captured and printed highlighting what makes each of these quilts special. From amazing piecing to embellishments to boggle the brain these quilts have it all. This book serves not only as a memory but as an unending form of inspiration for all quilt makers who want to do something new and different. I am very honest when I say that these quilts define what it means to be BadAss!
The collection in total is a striking example of what happens when you give quilters a limited pallet and free range at the same time! Each quilter started with 4 luscious Fat Quarters of Cherrywood Hand-dye and after that the party got started!
I think what I cherish the most is the comments of the makers i spoke with about how emboldened they felt as they created. A truly changing experience in quilt making!
